AIMK celebrated Women’s Day, Tejaswini – Fearless and Fabulous, an inspiring event conducted by Student Affairs and ISR, honouring the strength and achievements of women.
The celebration began with a Lamp Lighting Ceremony, followed by an introductory note and an energetic warrior dance. The cultural part included soulful poetry recitations along with a melodious song performance, added depth and emotion to the event.
A thought-provoking Panel Discussion featured women from all walks of life, reinforcing that a woman can have it all—or make her own choice, and she should always have that choice.
As a tribute to the remarkable women of AIMK, Sampark (HR club) was dedicated to celebrating their contributions and resilience.
The event concluded with a Cake Cutting Ceremony, and a photo session, capturing the joy of the occasion. Everyone came together for AIMK community lunch, wrapping up the celebration on a high note, and cherishing the essence of empowerment and togetherness.
February 28, 2025, marked a special day for AIMK as we had the honor of welcoming Maj Gen Suresh Chandra Jain, VSM** (Retd), our esteemed former Director. His visit was a moment of pride, reflection, and inspiration for the entire AIMK fraternity.
Maj Gen Suresh Chandra Jain, VSM** (Retd), the visionary leader behind AIMK’s transition from Alipore to our modern campus in Newtown, engaged with our MBA students, sharing invaluable insights on leadership and growth. He emphasized that this is the best time to be in India, pursue an MBA, and thrive at AIMK—a powerful message that resonated with everyone.
The day was filled with enriching interactions, starting with a warm reception by our Director, followed by insightful discussions with faculty, a vibrant cultural program, and an inspiring address. A campus walk revisited the legacy he helped shape, and his interactions with faculty and staff left a lasting impact.

AIMK’s highly anticipated Parakram 2025 commenced with a serene yoga session, led by Ms. Sanyukta Bardhan, at 6:30 AM, establishing a foundation of focus and vigor for the day. The official inauguration, marked by a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, was followed by the 1.6 km Unity Run, a symbolic demonstration of collaborative spirit and unwavering dedication.
The event showcased a diverse range of athletic competitions, including sprints, relays, volleyball, and tug-of-war, where participants displayed remarkable skill and determination. A highlight of the day was the spirited Faculty vs. Students matches, resulting in decisive victories for the faculty and non-teaching staff in both the men’s and women’s categories. The overall Champions Trophy was awarded to MBA 28 Section B, with MBA 27 Section B securing the runner-up position.
Parakram 2025 successfully fostered an environment of healthy competition and camaraderie, leaving a lasting impression of strength, unity, and exceptional sportsmanship. This event stands as a testament to the vibrant spirit and collective enthusiasm of the AIMK community.
We were honored to host Dr. Srinivas Chunduru, Founder of VMentor.ai, at Vyaakhyaan 2025! He captivated the audience with his inspiring journey, sharing invaluable corporate lessons and the power of storytelling. Drawing parallels from 3 Idiots, he reflected on societal pressures and the importance of choosing passion over expectations. His insights emphasized excellence, discipline, and continuous learning as drivers of success. The session left us with a powerful message: every achievement begins with a decisive step forward. A truly transformative experience that inspired us to focus on growth and and fulfillment!

AIMK had the privilege of hosting Mrs. Manjushree Bhattacharya, wife of Maj Gen Sibdas Bhattacharjee, Chairman AIMK, on 18th February 2025.
Her visit began with a cordial meeting with the Director of AIMK, where they discussed various aspects of the institute. This was followed by a detailed inspection of the campus, including the academic facilities, hostel, and other amenities.
One of the highlights of her visit was an engaging and insightful interactive lecture delivered to students of MBA Batch 27 and Batch 28. She shared valuable perspectives, enriching the learning experience of future business leaders.
The visit concluded with a High Tea session with faculty members, fostering meaningful discussions and interactions.
