She is working as an Assistant Professor (Finance) at AIMK since March 2017. She has completed B.Sc. Maths (H) from Calcutta University and MBA (Finance Major) from WBUT. She has received her Ph.D. degree in Management from NIT, Durgapur. Her area of specialization is Finance. She has six years of teaching experience in reputed B-schools in Kolkata and also one year of industry experience. Her interest areas are portfolio management, investment management, derivatives, heritage management. She has presented a number of research papers at different International conferences held in Jordan(WAC,2013), SiemReap (IPPA,2014), Stockholm (EASAA,2014), Cardiff (EASAA, 2016) , Switzerland (EAA, 2019), Belfast (EAA,2023) , IIM-Calcutta, Aliah University, Visva Bharati University etc. She had also been invited by Université Paris Ouest – Nanterre La Défense to chair a session at the International conference held in Paris (2015). She has been awarded with the Endowment fellowship from the University of Calcutta in the year 2014 & 2015. She has published a number of research papers in various national and international journals & conference proceedings. She has been awarded as the “Best Young Faculty of the Year” in 2019 by ICCI, New Delhi. She has been awarded with “Certificate of Appreciation in Academic Excellence” for outstanding contribution to imparting Technical Education to the youth of the country, in 2021. She has published an edited volume “Research Methodology -Tools & Techniques in Social Science”. She is the Associate editor of the journal name “Journal of Heritage, Archaeology & Management(JHAM)”.
