She is an Associate Professor (Finance) at Army Institute of Management, Kolkata, India.. She has completed B.Sc. Maths (H) from Calcutta University and MBA (Finance Major) from West Bengal University of Technology, and has received her PhD degree in Management from NIT, Durgapur. She has also qualified SET examination in Management.

She has more than 14 years of teaching experience in reputed B-schools in Kolkata, along with industry experience. Her areas of interest are portfolio management, investment management and heritage management.

She has presented several research papers and chaired sessions at different International conferences held in Jordan (WAC,2013), Siem Reap (IPPA,2014), Stockholm (EASAA,2014), Cardiff (EASAA, 2016), Bern, Switzerland (EAA, 2019), Prague (WAC,2022), Belfast, UK (EAA, 2023), Darwin, Australia (WAC, 2025) IIM-Calcutta, Aliah University, Visva Bharati University and so on. She has also been invited by Université Paris Ouest – Nanterre La Défense to chair a session at the International Conference held in Paris (2015).

She has published a number of research papers in various national and international journals indexed in UGC Care, SCOPUS, WOS & conference proceedings of repute.

She is an executive member of the Society for Heritage, Archaeology & Management (SHAM), a life member of the Indian Art History Congress, an annual member of the Kolkata Society for Asian Studies, the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA), the World Archaeological Congress (WAC), Kolkata Bidhan Nagar Society for Academic Advancement.

She has edited the volume on “Research Methodology: Tools & Techniques in Social Science.”

She is the associate editor of the “Journal of Heritage, Archaeology & Management (JHAM)” and Chief Editor of “Kindler– Journal of AIMK”.
