Mr. Barthwal shared his enriching journey beginning with his student life at AIMK and extending through his professional experiences at Reliance, Berger Paints, and finally, Maruti Suzuki. His talk highlighted the importance of perseverance, adaptability, and continuous learning in building a successful career.

The session was highly interactive and provided our students with valuable perspectives on the practical challenges and opportunities in the corporate world. His insights and experiences were deeply motivating and left a lasting impact on the audience.

A panel discussion was organized on 30th August 2025 (Saturday) at Tagore Auditorium for the MBA 28 and MBA 29 batches. The session focused on the theme “Emerging Industry Trends and Expectation from Young Professionals in the Era of Generative AI” and featured two eminent industry leaders as panellists:

The Army Institute of Management, Kolkata, celebrated the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi on 27th and 28th August 2025 with devotion and festive enthusiasm.

The celebrations began with the sthapan of Lord Ganesha’s murti followed by a devotional aarti with active participation from both faculty and students. The day was filled with vibrant cultural performances and fun activities, which brought together the AIMK community in an atmosphere of joy, creativity, and togetherness.

The celebrations concluded on 28th August with the heartfelt Visarjan of Lord Ganesha, accompanied by prayers for wisdom, prosperity, academic excellence, and the well-being of the entire AIMK family.

We were privileged to welcome Prof. Jagannath Panda, Head of the Stockholm Center for South Asian & Indo-Pacific Affairs, an esteemed authority on India’s strategic affairs. Prof. Panda shared invaluable perspectives on Indo-Pacific relations, China, and global diplomacy, offering deep insights that enriched the understanding of students and faculty alike.

Adding to the occasion’s prestige, Major General S. N. Mukherjee graced the event, bringing with him a legacy of remarkable military leadership and academic contributions that continue to inspire future generations. The presence of other eminent dignitaries further elevated the significance of this gathering.

The session proved to be a powerhouse of knowledge and vision, leaving the AIMK fraternity inspired and intellectually enriched. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our distinguished guests for making this event truly memorable.

The International Yoga Day was celebrated at AIMK with great enthusiasm and positive energy. The event was aimed at promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being among students and staff. The session was conducted by Ms. Mayurakhi Biswas, a certified yoga instructor and founder of Mayur’s Art Studio – a wellness venture dedicated to yoga and holistic living. A total of 27 participants actively engaged in the session, which included various yogic asanas, pranayama (breathing techniques), and a guided session on mindfulness and inner balance. The event emphasized the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life, fostering focus, discipline, and self-awareness, and reflecting AIMK’s holistic approach to education and well-being.

On 16th May 2025, Student Affairs and ISR at AIMK organized a grand and heartfelt ceremony. It bid farewell to the outgoing MBA-27 batch and, at the same time, celebrated key milestones for the incoming MBA-28 batch.

The farewell ceremony for MBA-27 was emotional and dignified. It honored the journey, achievements, and contributions of the outgoing students. Faculty, staff, and students came together to show their appreciation. Moreover, they shared best wishes as the graduates stepped into their professional lives. Speeches, heartfelt messages, and cultural performances showcased the strong bond within the AIMK community.

One of the major highlights of the event was the certificate distribution to the MBA-27 Council members. In recognition of their leadership, commitment, and service, faculty members acknowledged their efforts across academics, administration, cultural, and extracurricular activities. As a result, each council member received applause and appreciation from the audience.

Following the farewell, the institute held the Badge Ceremony for the new MBA-28 Council members. During this ceremony, faculty members personally handed over the badges, thereby officially entrusting the new council with their responsibilities. In addition, they encouraged the new leaders to uphold AIMK’s values and continue the tradition of excellence.

Toward the end of the event, the Director announced the recipients of the Director’s Scholarship. He also introduced the newly appointed Sports Captains and Vice-Captains for the upcoming academic year. Consequently, this segment highlighted AIMK’s focus on leadership and holistic development.

Overall, the ceremony marked a meaningful moment of reflection, recognition, and transition. It successfully brought together past achievements and future aspirations in a single, memorable celebration.
