A) ADMISSION PROCESS

  • 1. What are the eligibility criteria for admission at Army Institute of Management Kolkata (AIMK)?

    Ans: Yes. Civilians can also apply. There are 24 seats out of 120 seats are available for civilians.

  • 3. Will the wards of other defense force personnel eligible for “Army Quota”?

    Ans: No. Only wards of Indian Army personnel are eligible as of now.

  • 4. Is there any cut-off for CAT?

    Ans: The merit list is prepared based on the performance of the applicant in Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GDPI) and CAT-2023 score is considered only in part.

  • 5. Is any other entrance test considered, except CAT, for taking admission at your institute?

    Ans: Yes, we consider JEMAT also. However, AIMK doesn’t take students from JEMAT every year. In the event of seats remaining vacant after exhausting all CAT applicants, then only JEMAT is considered. Such vacancy notifications are released around May/June.

    Ans: Yes

  • 7. Is the application process online?

    Ans: Rs 500/- for Army candidates & Rs 600/- for others.

  • 9. What is the fee structure?

  • 10. When is the GDPI to be scheduled this year?

    Ans: 1st week of March. The exact dates are intimated in advance to the shortlisted applicants through email.

  • 11. How much time it’ll take to publish the result?

    Ans: Within 10-15 days after GDPI is over.

  • 1. What are the average CTC for the last 3 batches?

    Ans: Rs 6.25 Lakhs per annum (2020-22), Rs 7.90 Lakhs per annum (2021-23), Rs 8.77 Lakhs per annum (Outgoing batch of 2022-24 till now).

    Ans: Rs 12.5 Lakhs per annum (2020-22), Rs 15 Lakhs per annum (2021-23), Rs 15 Lakhs per annum (Outgoing batch of 2022-24 till now)

    Ans: Yes.
