What are the eligibility criteria for admission at Army Institute of Management Kolkata (AIMK)?

Min 50% marks in graduation
Valid scorecard in CAT-2025.

Are civilians allowed to take admission in your college?

Civilians can also apply. There are 24 seats out of 120 seats are available for General candidates including civilians.

Will the wards of other defense force personnel eligible for “Army Quota”?

Yes. Wards of Indian Air Force and Indian Navy personnel are eligible under the respective category.

i. 04 seats for Indian Air Force category.

ii. 02 seats for Indian Navy category.

Is there any cut-off for CAT?

Merit list is prepared based on the following:

1. Scores in GD-PI

2. CAT 2025 percentile

3. Percentage of marks in class 10

4. Percentage of marks in class 12

5. Percentage of marks in UG

6. Performance in extracurricular activities

7. Performance in sports

Is any other entrance test considered, except CAT, for taking admission at your institute?

Yes, we consider JEMAT also. However, AIMK doesn’t take students from JEMAT every year. In the event of seats remaining vacant after exhausting all CAT applicants, then only JEMAT is considered. Such vacancy notifications are released around May/June.

What is the application fee?

Rs 500/- for the wards of Indian Army/ Indian Air Force/ Indian Navy & Rs 600/- for others.

What is the fee structure?

The fee structure for the two year MBA programme (all inclusive) is Rs 8,21,700/- for the wards of Indian Army/ Indian Air Force/ Indian Navy & Rs 10,85,669/- for others. There may be minor revision in the fee structure for enhancement of facilities for the students.

When is the GDPI to be scheduled this year?

3rd week of Jan 26. The exact dates are intimated in advance to the shortlisted applicants through email.

How much time it’ll take to publish the result?

Within 07 days after GDPI is over.

What are the highest CTCs for the last 4 batches?

₹ 12.5 Lakhs per annum (2020-22), ₹ 15 Lakhs per annum (2021-23), ₹ 16.22 Lakhs per annum (2022-24), ₹ 19.00 Lakhs per annum (2023-25),

What is the success rate of campus placement?

Success rate is close to 100 %. All students get multiple placement opportunities with many having more than 3 job offers.

Is it mandatory to stay in the hostel during the course period?

Yes.

Morning tea, breakfast, lunch, evening snacks & dinner. Veg & non-veg food options are available.

Yes.
