Recent Faculty Development Program at AIMK

 

Faculty Workshop on Mentoring by Mr. Dipankar Banerjee|| 10 Aug 2024

A day-long Workshop on Mentoring was conducted for the faculty members of AIMK on 10th August 2024. Mr. Dipankar Banerjee, an esteemed resource person with over 35 years of experience in Management Development and Human Resources, was invited as a resource person for the workshop.

The program was meticulously designed to elevate faculty development through a comprehensive approach. Mr. Banerjee introduced the Fundamental Interpersonal Relationship Orientation Behaviour (FIRO-B) instrument, which facilitated assessments and a deeper understanding of human traits and relationship boundaries. His focus was on enhancing the teaching methodologies of mentors, developing essential behavioral competencies among mentees, and emphasizing the importance of emotional intelligence. Additionally, the workshop covered developing leadership skills and managing challenges through targeted coaching and mentoring.

This initiative has significantly contributed to the academic and professional growth of the faculty members, ensuring a positive impact on both mentors and mentees.
