Col. Prabir Sengupta,VSM (Retd) visited Army Institute of Management, Kolkata on 18/07/19 for delivering the session on Stress ,Time, Anger, Conflict, Financial,  Negotiation and Interpersonal Skills Management to MBA23 Students. The session was a very informative.

Guest Lecture by Ms Rituparna Ghosh

A guest lecture was taken by Ms Rituparna Ghosh on 19th July 2019 organised by AIMK in which she told the MBA-23 students on the various challenges faced by HR in this VUCA world. She also told about the role of HR in reshaping the organisation and how humans use emotional touch and robots don’t. She also mentioned about integrity and value which are non-negotiable traits for an employee. She ended the session by quoting “Essential Skill is to Unlearn & Learn.”

Quiz Event organized by AIMK and Business Standard for MBA-23

On 22 July 2019 Business Standard schedule a quiz event which is organized by AIMK.
The top scorers got medals and certificate and the winners name are Devender Singh came First position, Suman Sharma came second position, Riya Datta and Ratikant Behera joined winner for the third position.
Mr. Sukalyan from Business Standard emphasizes on the quality of reading and provided tips for improving personality.

Orientation day of MBA23 commenced with welcome speech of the Ofg. Director Prof. Dr. Malini Majumder who introduced the other faculty members of AIMK.
 
Program was later followed by the speech of Registrar and Head of Administrator, Col Sushen Chakraborty (Retd), student affairs coordinator Prof. Asmita Basu, student council president, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Yadav. 
Prof. Protik Basu introduced M-Parichay to the students in his 1st interactive session.

5th Annual International Day of Yoga Celebration at AIMK

Yoga is a good practice if one does in daily life. It helps to live healthy life style and better life forever,Yoga helps to manage Stress and anxiety and keeps us relaxing. The fifth annual International Day of Yoga is celebrated at the Army Institute of Management, kolkata on 18 June 2019, in the presence of students of AIMK.

AIMK'S PRESENCE @ TEDx BY IMI,KOLKATA

The students of AIMK participated in the TEDx event which was conducted in IMI Kolkata on 18th April 2019.In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. TED Talks video and live speakers had been combined to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The students got an opportunity to interact with the industry stalwarts on issues related to evolving technology in different areas.

GUEST LECTURE ON THE RECENT TRENDS IN HR

Army Institute of Management, Kolkata organized a session on the “Recent Trends in HR” on 30 Mar, 2019. The session was conducted by Rituparna Ghosh, the Function Head-Global Workforce Transitionat WIPRO Ltd. The session gave a brief knowledge regarding certain concepts which are related to core human resource work. Some of the important concepts which she emphasized upon are like, Rebadging Process, Balancing people, Align management, employee harmonization, communication a key parameter etc.

IISWBM Event-GENESIS 2019

The MHRM department of The Indian Institute of Social Welfare & Business Management (IISWBM) organized an inter-college fest named GENESIS 2019. It was on 19th march 2019 and 20th march 2019. In this fest, students of Army Institute of Management Kolkata had successfully participated in many of the events like Debate (double), extempore, quiz (double), dance, management event, singing and treasure hunt. Their event started off with some mesmerizing cultural events and performance by dancers, singers and ex-students.
