It was a informative session about facilities of our new campus, codes and conducts. In the session, Placement Cell presented about the Placement hike for MBA 2020-2022.
Republic Day Celebration
Our brave heroes waged a valiant struggle for years so that future generations could live their lives with freedom and dignity. This is a day to celebrate them and what they fought for. The Army Institute of Management, Kolkata celebrates Republic Day with flag hoisting and cultural performances as a representation of India's unity in diversity and rich cultural heritage.

75th Independence Day Celebration in AIMK
It was the 75th Indian Independence Day this year which means India has achieved 74 years of freedom. We as Indians pay respect to all the leaders who fought bravely for our nation's freedom in the past. This day reminds us of all the sacrifices that were made by our freedom fighters in order to set India free from British rule. We at Army Institute of Management, Kolkata celebrated this special day with Flag - rising ceremony and we were unable to perform cultural programmes due to COVID-19 Pandemic but as Institutional Social Responsibility, we inaugurated "Pratikshalay". It is actually a public utility place consisting of unisex toilet and a filtered water cooler. This area also serves as a place where standby people can wait for the arrival of their transport.
Inauguration of PRATIKSHALAY
On 15th of August 2021, on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, we inaugurated "Pratikshalay '' as our Institute Social Responsibility. Pratikshalay (waiting room) is an integral part of AIMK which is made just next to the main gate of the institution. It is actually a public utility place consisting of unisex toilet and a filtered water cooler. This area also serves as a place where standby people can wait for the arrival of their transport as well as a waiting place for online delivery persons. AIMK always takes pride to serve the society in an honourable way as they believe in taking initiative to bring about a change.
UPRENEUR 2020
Students of various B- school participated in contest of business idea event UPRENEUR 2020 organized by Calcutta Business School and Calcutta Management Association.Total of 20 teams across Kolkata battle it out at Rotary Sadan from morning to evening.Team AIMK bagged First runners up prize and got Rs. 20,000/-.
THE RISING STUDENTPRENEURS
The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) is the oldest chamber of commerce in India and organizes many entrepreneurial events quite often. On 9 January 2020 Bengal Chamber of Commerce organized B-plan contest named "THE RISING STUDENTPRENEURS" at intercollegiate level in Kolkata where our Team AIMK participated After a rigorous 1-month long assessment and final day presentation with entire MBA-23 graced their presence to cheer our team. We secured top 8 Position among 400 business plans submitted to them.
INDUSTRY INTERACTIVE SESSION BY MS SHUCHI RUNGTA, KREDENT INFO EDGE PRIVATE LIMITED
The session covered on major financial topics based on Capital marketing and the journey of Financial markets was briefed very well which intrigued the confidence among the students to learn and explore the wider concepts of finance and economy.
The session included instruments of financial markets and intermediaries of stock exchange and smart money investment through different channels .To add on the session was carried forward by Sumanta Sarkar senior Manager sales and marketing briefed about Kredent learning and also the stock exchange app which one could go through and learn courses which were given by them .
The session was very informative and enlightened.
Matri Bhasha Divas Celebration at AIMK, 21 Feb 2020
On 21st February 2020, we as secular Indians celebrated International Mother Language day in remembrance of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for their mother tongue in Bangladesh in 1952.
Students presented the diversity in our country through various cultural performances depicting the different cultures in India. The event was started with melodious songs in Punjabi and Bengali. Dance performances were presented to depict Rajasthani, Assamese, Pahadi, Nepali and Punjabi cultures. A special reward was also awarded to three performances namely Rajasthani, Assamese and Nepali Dance Performances. The event was highlighted by a special performance by our Faculty – Professor Deblina Chatterjee. The event was wrapped up by a wonderful speech by our Director – Maj Gen A. K. Sapra – on the Matri Bhasha Divas and importance of multilingualism.
